My name is Tan Li Ping,I am an average looking girl with long hair. I am 15 year old this year. My hobbies are watching television programmes, playing badminton, swimming, cycling and shopping. Badminton, swimming and cycling are good forms of sports which keep us healthy. Moreover, they are fun and interesting. Therefore, I enjoy playing badminton and swimming as I can relax myself.
I come from a middle class family with no siblings. In other words, I am the only child in the family. My parents go to work in the morning and return home from work in the evening. Sometimes, my mother cooks when she is not too tired when she returns from work. Even though I have no siblings, I do not feel bored at home! I can just call my friends and chat with them. I have quite a number of good friends in school and most of them are girls. We can chat on anything, for example, we gossip about the latest issue that people are gossiping about and discuss the latest fashion.
Currently, I am studying at Chong Boon Secondary School at Ang Mo Kio. I am in secondary three this year. There are a total of nine subjects that I need to study in school. The subjects are English, Chinese, Mathematics, Physic, Chemistry, Geography, Social Studies, Food and Nutrition and Principle of Accounts. My school has very strict school rules. Other than studying, we have a programme call Co-Curricular Activities. The aim of this programme was to develop pupils' physical fitness, develop basic skill competencies, inculcate desire values and positive social attitudes, and help us to acquire a life-long hobby in games. In secondary Schools, we have to complete a four to five year course and take a final exam during the final year and we will proceed to a school of higher learning.
Singapore is a multi racial, clean and green country. We have races like the Chinese, Malays, Indians, and Eurasians. Thus, we have a variety of food in Singapore and we can enjoy foodfrom different races. we also speak quite a few languages. The Chinese can could speak dialects and some can speak Malay language. These are the benefits of staying in Singapore. Lastly, as a Singaporean, I am really proud of my country.
